Data quality
How do we know our data is complete and correct? No site can promise 100%, so we keep checking our own data and show you the results as they are.
The numbers right now
- The archive holds 220 sets and 23,770 cards.
- Last comparison with an independent second source: 2026-10-18: the card count is identical in 157 sets, differs in 19, and 43 have no second source (for example the digital Pocket sets).
- Last new-set sync: 2026-10-18. Last refresh of older sets: 2026-10-18.
- Market prices for 19,588 cards, last updated —.
What we check, and when
- Daily: import new sets, refresh recent ones, check prices and card images.
- Rolling: every day we re-import a few older sets from the source, so its corrections reach every set within about a month.
- Weekly: we compare each set's card count with a second, independent database (pokemon-tcg-data) and run internal checks: duplicate cards, cards with no name, image or rarity, and numbers that disagree with the set size.
What we cannot guarantee
Our main data source (TCGdex) is a community project and may contain errors or lag behind new releases. We detect differences between the two sources but do not fix them automatically; we review them by hand. Prices are approximate references. The official printed text on the card is the final authority.
